On this special occasion, our bishop Pavlo Chomnytsky of Stamford, will visit our parish and celebrate the Divine Liturgy with us. Please note that on this day, there will be only one Liturgy, at 10:00 a.m. Following the Liturgy, everyone is warmly invited to join us for a festive parish lunch in the Parish house.

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

It is with joy and humility that I share with you the news that tomorrow, Sunday, October 25, during the Divine Liturgy at 10am, I will officially receive the Mitra ( mitre: Greek: μίτρα) from His Beatitude Patriarch Sviatoslav, Father and Head of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church. The presentation will be made by His Excellency Bishop Paul Chomnycky, Eparch of Stamford.

I warmly invite all of you to join me in prayer on this special occasion and to give thanks to our Lord God for the gift of the priesthood, His loving care, and His continued blessings upon my ministry to our beloved Church and the Ukrainian people, especially during these difficult times of war in Ukraine.

With prayers and gratitude,

Fr. Yaroslav
